Matt Mullarkey
Matt Mullarkey is a Los Angeles based producer that brings a unique hybrid of creative and technical expertise to crafting content for film, television, and new media. Specializing in post production and visual effects, he is a two-time Telly Award winning editor. He is currently the Visual Effects Production Manager for Illuminate3D, working on stereoscopic feature films for major movie studios like Warner Brothers.
His passion for content creation stems from the realm of music performance and recording. Working in the Bay Area as a sound mixer in the 2001, Matt created an opportunity to broaden his skills in the world music video production while working with iMusicast, the first venue to offer exclusive live streaming video performances of music acts on the Internet. This is where he began to cut his chops as a technical director and video editor working with up and coming acts like Plain White T’s, The K.G.B., and The Matches. Matt further refined his editorial and compositing skills working independently on local business television spots before moving to Los Angeles in 2004, when he launched No Mullarkey Productions. No Mullarkey Productions specializes in post production services and visual effects compositing, serving clients like The Grammy Foundation, Musicares, MGA-Entertainment, and Panasonic. While managing his business Matt periodically takes freelance and staff assignments as a video editor, vfx artist, or post production supervisor. In 2005 he became Director of Video Production for the startup company, Twistbox Entertainment, building a video production department for the creation mobile video products. Matt possesses a fine attention to detail and employs his ever-expanding drive for creating cutting edge visual entertainment in every project.
